First impressions:
- The animation? WAY better than what we’ve been getting. The fight scenes already feel more intense.
Sasuke's been MIA (of course), but you can feel that they're building up to something big with him. Can't wait for that confrontation with Naruto.
- The Akatsuki… These guys are seriously bad news. That opening scene with Deidara and Gaara? EPIC. I didn’t expect it to get that intense right off the bat. The Akatsuki are about to change everything, and I'm so here for it.
- Also, thank GOD Naruto isn’t just running around causing trouble anymore. He’s still got that goofy charm, but you can tell he’s matured. And did anyone else notice how Sakura is finally useful? I was really hoping they’d step up her character this time around.
Anyway, I know it’s only been a couple of episodes, but this feels like it’s going to be a HUGE step up from the fillers we had to sit through in the original series.
